Job Description
Healthfelt Global Staffing is seeking compassionate and experienced Staff Nurses – Intellectual Disabilities to provide specialized nursing care and support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The role focuses on promoting independence, improving quality of life, and ensuring the health and safety of individuals in residential or community care settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with medical guidelines
- Monitor physical and mental health conditions and respond to healthcare needs
- Support individuals in maintaining independence and daily living skills
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, therapists, and social workers
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and their families
- Maintain accurate medical records and care documentation
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safeguarding policies, and safety standards
Skill & Experience
- Knowledge of intellectual disability nursing practices
- Experience with behavioral support and person-centered care plans
- Understanding of safeguarding and support frameworks
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills
