Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support patients with mobility and physical assistance when needed
- Help patients with eating, drinking, and maintaining personal hygiene
- Assist nursing staff with basic clinical tasks and patient care activities
- Monitor and record basic patient observations such as temperature and pulse
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Follow healthcare safety standards and infection control procedures
- Report any changes in a patient’s condition to the nursing team
Skill & Experience
- Experience working in hospitals, care homes, or community care environments
- Basic healthcare or caregiving training
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Patience, empathy, and a supportive approach to patient care
