Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to individuals in residential homes, community settings, or supported living environments
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene when required
- Support individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, and social activities
- Encourage independence and help clients develop life skills
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Monitor the well-being of individuals and report any concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care and support activities
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, social workers, and family members to ensure quality care
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals
Skill & Experience
- Experience supporting elderly individuals, people with disabilities, or vulnerable adults
- Knowledge of person-centered care practices
- Ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Basic first aid or care-related training
