In this role, you will assist nurses and healthcare professionals in delivering day-to-day patient care while ensuring patients are comfortable, safe, and treated with dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support patients with mobility and physical assistance when needed
- Help patients with eating and drinking when required
- Monitor and record basic health information such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Assist nurses and medical staff during patient care procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Observe and report any changes in a patient’s condition to the nursing team
- Follow healthcare policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines
Skill & Experience
- Knowledge of healthcare support practices
- Experience working in hospitals, nursing homes, or home care settings
- Basic first aid or healthcare training
- Strong attention to detail and patient care standards
